You will go past a traffic light, where a veer to the right will take you to the entrance to Bear Mountain State Park. DO NOT MAKE THIS TURN! Continue down 9W about ½ mile. On the left you will see a small road with a small, brown, nondescript Iona Island sign. Turn left here onto the Iona Island Causeway. It is easy to miss, be careful! Park in the gravel parking lot on the right before the railroad tracks.

Be careful when crossing the railroad tracks!
